Bing Dwen Dwen[1][2] (Chinese: 冰墩墩; pinyin: Bīng Dūn Dūn) is the official mascot of the 2022 Winter Olympics, and Shuey Rhon Rhon[3] (Chinese: 雪容融; pinyin: Xuě Róng Róng) is the official mascot of the 2022 Winter Paralympics.
The new Olympic mascot served as an ambassador for winter sports, bringing joy to those who participate in and watch the Olympic Winter Games. “Bing” means ice and also symbolises purity and strength, and “Dwen Dwen” represents children.
