  2. I actually love (or at least don’t mind) most kdrama tropes - contract relationships, love triangles/squares/pentagons, friends to lovers, chaebols, noonas, etc, etc... But the few things I really dislike are when the FL is shy/squeamish about kissing or any skinship AFTER they are already in a relationship!

In watching Kdramas for so long, I've noticed so many wonderful (and not so wonderful) commonalities in dramas. This is all just for fun and of course is not a complete list.

  4. Though tropes can be annoying sometimes, I do love them. I but think some need to be presented 'in a new jacket'. With this I mean remembering the original trope, but changing it a little to make it fresh and possibly less cringy.

  5. Tropes that fell exaggerated. I was watching Heartstrings and I remembered a classic trope that always feels silly in these dramas, and that’s the impact of a slightly twisted ankle. In many a drama a character stumbles or even just swerved slightly and then it’s “I twisted it, I can’t put weight on it” style consequences.
