In 2008, Tymoshchuk won the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Super Cup as the captain of Zenit. He also won a Russian Premier League and Russian Super Cup title with the blue-white-sky blues. He then moved on to Bayern Munich where he won the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League in 2013 and was also a UEFA Champions League runner-up in 2010 and 2012.
