Randhir Raj Kapoor (born 15 February 1947) is a retired Indian actor, film producer and director who worked in Hindi cinema. Part of the Kapoor family, he is the son of actor–filmmaker Raj, grandson of actor Prithviraj and the brother of late actors Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor.
Randhir Kapoor was in a courtship of about 6-7 years with Babita Kapoor, before getting married to her. His family was against this marriage as Babita was an actress and his family did not want any actress to be their daughter-in-law. But Randhir Kapoor managed to convince them. Notably, Babita left acting after marriage.
