Daniel Joseph Ricciardo AM (/ rɪˈkɑːrdoʊ / ⓘ "Ricardo", Italian: [ritˈtʃardo]; born 1 July 1989) is an Australian racing driver, who most recently competed in Formula One from 2011 to 2024. Graduating from karting to junior formulae in 2005, Ricciardo won his first championship at the 2008 Formula Renault 2.0 West European Cup with SG Formula.
