From there, you will need to go over the basic Linux commands, as without at least some knowledge of those you will struggle. Shit, I had most of the basic commands down and later levels had me struggling. Things I really recommend going over: Commands for files (ls, cat, mv, etc.)

So the "wire" analogy is basically just saying that things are coming from some remote location over some electronic medium.

Their contact surface area is far smaller than a wire nut, and their holding power is much less than a properly installed wire nut. All you have to do is a quick pull and twist and the connections come apart.

In all of OPs description, he didn't mention anything about "online" wire transfer. Just mentioned wire transfer. The 25k limit is in place for online (either mobile app or website). Jul 15, 2014 · Over/over coils the cable into a spiral, so when you pull it out straight you end up with a twisted knotted mess. Over time this can cause permanent damage to any cable. Over/under alternates the way the cable turns with each loop, so there is less twisting stress on it and it will pull out straight and relaxed every time.

Nov 15, 2022 · Obviously de-energize before making changes. Wire nut and tape both ends of “spare” to prevent any chance of shorting. Label both ends. It’ll save someone a lot of head scratching in the future. Not ideal, a wirenut or wago would be better, but electrical tape is rated for domestic voltages at a minimum.
