Worcester College (/ ˈ w ʊ s t ər / ⓘ WUUST-ər) is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford [4] in England. The college was founded in 1714 by the benefaction of Sir Thomas Cookes, 2nd Baronet (1648–1701) of Norgrove, Worcestershire, whose coat of arms was adopted by the college. [ 5 ]

A constituent college of the University of Oxford in England, Worcester College was founded in 1714 by Sir Thomas Cookes, whose coat of arms the college adopted. Gloucester College existed on the same site from the late 13th century until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1539.
Teaching & Learning. Our stunning grounds include over 26 acres of award-winning gardens, a lake (with ducks), and the only college with sports pitches on site.
