Jun 1, 2021 · Your storage is shared across Gmail, Google Photos and Google Drive. When your account reaches its storage limit, you can’t: Send or receive emails through Gmail. Upload photos or videos through Google Photos. Upload files to Drive or create new files in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms, or Jamboard. Gmail.
If you want to change how much you pay, change your storage plan. On your computer, go to Google One. Click Settings . Click Change payment method. In Google Play, on the left, click My subscriptions. Next to "Google One," click Manage. Next to "Primary payment method," click Update. Select an option and follow the steps on the screen.
To stop payments for Google One and end your membership: On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google One app . At the top, tap Menu Settings Cancel membership. To confirm, tap Cancel membership. You should get a confirmation that your subscription is cancelled.
On your computer, make sure you signed into your Google account. In a browser, go to one.google.com. At the top, click Upgrade. Choose your new storage limit. Review the new plan pricing and payment date, then click Continue. To confirm your Google One plan, select your payment method and click Subscribe.
Check storage usage by family member. You can check how your total space is shared between members of your Google One family plan. On your computer, go to Google One. On the left, click Storage. Next to "Family storage," click the down arrow . Review which members take up space.

Confirm that: Local device storage has enough space to fit the backup.

If there are no new benefits, you'll get an "All caught up" message. To find other benefits, including the ones you already claimed, tap View history. Check your benefits now.
