We established the first Azim Premji School in 2012. We now have nine Azim Premji Schools (in Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand). Our schools are affiliated to state education boards and follow the state curriculum.

May 30, 2022 · The Azim Premji School, Barmer, was set up with a vision of providing a holistic learning environment for children, a place where they learn new things, be themselves, learn values required to be good human beings and responsible citizens. Currently, the school has classes I to IV, hundred and thirty-nine students and nine teachers.
We have an Azim Premji School in Dhamtari. Our work under Health is present in Dharamjaigarh and Lailunga blocks of Raigarh. We have also started our Livelihoods work in Raigarh. We are also working in Chhattisgarh through our partners.

The School offers Ph.D. in Education and Master of Arts in Education. The MA Education programme is spread over four semesters, i.e. across two years. The programme introduces students to educational thought and practice across the globe and in India.
Azim Premji University is an Indian non-profit private university, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It was established by the Azim Premji University Act (2010) and recognised by the University Grants Commission under Section 2F.
In 2001, he founded the Azim Premji Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing school education across India. In a historic gesture in 2010, Premji pledged to donate at least half of his wealth to philanthropic causes.

Out of this Rs 5 lakh was sitting fees and the rest was commission. Rishad joined Wipro in 2007 and worked in several roles before becoming Executive Chairman in 2019.
