Jul 30, 1998 · Bharathan was an Indian filmmaker, artist, and art director. Bharathan is noted for being the founder of a new school of film making in Malayalam cinema, along with Padmarajan and K. G. George, in the 1980s, which created films that were widely received while also being critically acclaimed.
In the early stages of his career, Bharathan began as a dialogue writer under the guidance of film director Dharani. He contributed dialogues to movies like Vikram’s “Dhill” (2001), “Dhool” (2003), and Vijay’s “Ghilli” (2004), as well as Madhesh’s “Madhurey” (2004).
