On September 6, 2006, the company and several brands were spun off by the Sara Lee Corporation. Hanesbrands owns several clothing brands, including Hanes, Champion, Playtex, Bali, L'eggs, Just My Size, Barely There, Wonderbra, Maidenform, Berlei, and Bonds.
