Sep 3, 2020 · Sivamani is the composer for upcoming Hindi film Atkan Chatkan, which stars musical prodigy Lydian Nadhaswaram in the lead. He calls it a special film because it is “based on percussion”.
Schooled in both the Carnatic rhythmic tradition and Western Jazz drums, Sivamani is the only Indian Drummer to be conferred with the most prestigious 'Padma Shri' by the Indian Government (2019). He is truly a World Percussionist -surrounding his kit with an array of instruments.
