Detectives are searching for Joshua Hocking, 35, who is believed to have left the scene of the fatal attack in Whittington in Geelong’s southeast. Emergency services were called to a house in Planet Court about 3pm on Wednesday after reports a man had been stabbed.

Hocking was jailed earlier the year after fatally stabbing Whittington man Geoffrey McDonald in the neck after Mr McDonald hit him three times with a 70cm conduit during a fight.
