Jul 18, 2012 · Family dynasty. The family dynasty began when William Armstrong, a farm labourer, bought a smallholding that came with a single Ford Model T truck (still proudly on display at Armstrong’s headquarters) and began moving coal, livestock (one cow at a time) and milk in churns.
