Tippu is buried here by the side of his father Hyder Ali and mother Fatima Begum. Outside the tomb are the graves of his relatives and commanders. Nearby the "Mashit-e-Aqsa" mosque, with a pair of small minarets is located. A solar clock could be found outside this building.
Located in Srirangapatnam Tombs of Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan is a site worth visiting. It is situated at a distance of 15 km from Mysore. Built in 1784 AD by Tipu Sultan for his parents, he was also buried here in 1799 AD.
