3. Ayudha Puja (Weapon Worship):
On Vijayadashami, Hindus clean and service their weapons and perform Puja. Not only weapons but also the equipment, machines, vehicles, etc., used by different tradesmen are also worshipped. It is believed that when Goddess Durga slayed Mahishasura on the tenth day of the war, the gods worshipped her weapons. Therefore, this tradition started.
