Scarlet Innocence (Korean: 마담 뺑덕; RR: Madam Bbaengdeok) is a 2014 South Korea erotic thriller film co-written and directed by Yim Pil-sung, starring Jung Woo-sung and Esom. [2] It is a modern-day retelling of the classic Korean folktale Simcheongga .

20-year old Deokee's quiet small-town life gets exciting when a former university professor, Hak-kyu, moves in, running from a sexual harassment allegation. Mutual attraction leads the pair into a lusty affair but when the fall semester begins, Hak-kyu returns to his family in the city.
Movie retells the classic Korean tale "The Story of Simcheong" ("Simcheong Jeon"), but set in the present day. Filming began March 5, 2014 at an amusement park in Namwon, North Jeolla Province, South Korea.
