The funny thing is, it wasn’t always the luxe destination it is today. La Jolla was once home to a military shooting range on a plot of land known as Camp Calvin B. Matthews.
La Jolla is the home of InspirED, an EdTech company that supports schools in supporting their students' mental health through therapeutic services, educational opportunities, and technology. La Jolla is mentioned in the Beach Boys' 1963 song Surfin' U.S.A. and in The Network's 2003 song Spike.
