Pushpa: The Rise is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Sukumar, and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media. The film stars Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, a coolie who rises in a syndicate that smuggles red sandalwood , a rare wood that grows only in the Seshachalam Hills of Andhra Pradesh .
Pushpa gains the trust of his employer Konda Reddy (Ajay Ghosh). Konda has 2 brothers Jolly (Jolly is a womanizer and sleeps with all brides on the night of their marriage) & Jakka Reddy (Shanmukh) (the accountant). Konda lost his right arm in a gang fight many yrs ago. Konda send Jolly and Jakka to recover the Sanders.
