    Arraba is a wonderful Palestinian town to leave your car and really get your teeth into on foot. Its arches and alleys reveal an exquisitely restored historic centre, punctuated by the Great Mosque. Jenin, 13km to the north, is a hive of activity with a lot for visitors to see. Nearby Burqin is a beautiful spot also not to be missed.

    Jenin is home to a range of sit-down restaurants, as well as some of the tastiest shawarma joints in Palestine.

    There are several hotels in Jenin, as well as a hostel which is popular with travellers called Cinema Jenin Guesthouse.
