Schleissheim Palace. The Schleißheim Palace ( German: Schloss Schleißheim) comprises three individual palaces in a grand Baroque park in the village of Oberschleißheim, a suburb of Munich, Bavaria, Germany. The palace was a summer residence of the Bavarian rulers of the House of Wittelsbach .
The palace complex of Schleissheim is among the largest and most impressive of the Wittelsbach dynasty’s residences in Bavaria. The Old Palace originated in the early 17th century as a ducal country mansion.
