  1. Kalasin (Thai: กาฬสินธุ์, pronounced [kāːlāsǐn]) is one of Thailand's seventy-six provinces (changwat), located in upper northeastern Thailand, also called Isan. The province was established by the Act Establishing Changwat Kalasin, BE 2490 (1947), and it came into existence on 1 October 1947.

    We were impressed with Shark Gym and Cafe(กาฬสินธุ์). The gym is modern, air-conditioned and cost only 40 baht for the day. They sell very good protein shakes for 50 baht. The cafe looked great but was closed on our visit.
