    April 9, 2009. The locals’ sleep was disturbed at 3 AM due to a loud rumble in the valley. Around 300 kilograms heavy meteorite entered the orbit and fell down on Mežakla Mountain. Scientists have been watching it as it was approaching and today the meteorite is famous worldwide. You can see it in Prirodoslovni muzej Slovenije in Ljubljana.
