The plot in CITY WARRIORS is surprisingly easy to follow and understand and doesn't have too many turns and unclear happenings. The film has a pretty impressive and talented cast. It includes the veteran Hong Kong actor Dick Wei who plays the lead role as the avenging brother from the mainland China.
Grimy and gritty, City Warriors unfolds like Wang Lung Wei’s take on a poliziotteschi with all the vile, sleazy, vicious edge that entails. Revenge, trafficking, corruption, plus a few murder sequences more akin to a slasher film.

City Warriors is a 1988 action movie directed by Lung-Wei Wang (aka Johnny Wang) and starring Dick Wei (reuniting them both ever since Hong Kong Godfather). In typical brutal 80s Hong Kong fashion, the movie is violent, gory, and excessively over-the-top with plenty of red throughout.
