A true cult classic. I'm proud that it was made and filmed in my hometown, and very happy to have pitched a couple hundred bucks toward it. Everything about this movie was fun, meeting the director, writers, cast and FX artist was a ton of fun as well. Every horror fan should give Wolfcop a watch, even if they aren't too keen on horror-comedy.
Mar 9, 2015 · It’s been almost a year since we dropped our review of Lowell Dean’s riotous WolfCop and tomorrow the bad beast is finally shredding its way onto home video and VOD.
He wrote and directed the horror comedy WolfCop, which upon its release quickly achieved a worldwide cult status, winning multiple awards, and was named movie of the year by Canada's leading newspaper the National Post. Following its success, Lowell helmed the sequel, Another WolfCop, slated to hit Cineplex theatres in the fall of 2017.
Patrick Cooper of Bloody Disgusting gave WolfCop a positive review, writing: "A perfect storm of creature action, the occult, gore, intrigue, humor, and lycanthropic puns, WolfCop is destined for cult glory."
