It was surprisingly good, especially with my generally low expectations for fantasy movies. I was surprised to not have heard of it before and to see that there have been 5 movies in the series since 2014.
I will say some aspects felt a bit better in the second movie, so it was good to see some immediate improvement, even if only a little. I think they leaned into the comedy more, and I have a hard time deciding if that was a good or bad idea.
