Months after the first teaser gave the first glimpse of the prequel, the latest news comes in the form of a full trailer for Mufasa: The Lion King. Revealed by Disney at 2024's D23 fan expo, the full trailer expands upon the origins of the relationship between Mufasa and his adoptive brother, Scar. Perhaps most interesting, the trailer fleshes out Scar's original name, Taka, and offers glimpses of their friendship before Taka became sinister.
