Jermaine Dupri Mauldin (born September 23, 1972) is an American record producer, rapper, singer, songwriter, DJ, record executive. [4] [5] Raised in Atlanta as the son of Columbia Records executive Michael Mauldin , he began his career in music production at the age of nine.
Apart from being a rapper and record producer, Dupri is a songwriter, DJ, and a television producer as well. He was also a dancer in the hip-hop dance group ‘Whodini’ during his childhood days. He had started ‘Rap Corna Guuds’, his own store before becoming a rapper.
