In 1997, he played the cameo role of Doctor Salim in the Hindi TV serial ‘Ghar Jamai.’ He then acted in various Hindi TV serials such as ‘Saaya’ (1998), ‘Rishtey’ (1998), ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’ (2009), and ‘Paltan Meri Shaan’ (2015).

    In 2002, he debuted as an actor in the Hindi film ‘Dil Vil Pyar Vyar.’ He came into the limelight with the Hindi film ‘Maqbool’ (2003) in which he played the role of Devsare.
