Check Symptoms is available to patients who have a home address in Arizona, Iowa, Minnesota or Wisconsin and have a Mayo Clinic primary care provider.
Check Symptoms can be used to evaluate a number of common conditions, including COVID-19 and other cold- and flu-like symptoms, rash, pink eye, nausea and vomiting, wounds like cuts and scrapes, and other concerns. Available symptoms will appear to patients based on individual factors such as age and gender.
The recommendations for care you'll receive could include:
1. Self-care instructions based on Mayo Clinic's educational content. 2. Speaking with an experienced triage nurse. 3. Making an in-person or video visit using the self-schedule feature.
