Sameer Bhavnani (born: August 8, 1984 (1984-08-08) [age 39]) is an Indian-American filmmaker and YouTuber who makes short films.
His first video was about a disloyal wife who cheated on her husband with his best friend, and he would often make short skits about racism in daily life. Some of his short films have continuity, such as his five part video on a wife who cheated on her husband.
His videos also use CGI as a tool (Denzel Washington's face was deepfaked in one) and often include voice-over narration from Sameer himself. The videos often teach the lesson of not being racist, hateful and abusive, and that if you are a good person and work hard, you will succeed. He also makes videos about the channel, such as people subscribing to him.
Plagiarism accusations
His videos have been likened to Dhar Mann, due to the video title text, thumbnails, the lessons and themes of racism, gold diggers and bullying. However his videos take a more serious tone compared to Dhar's, and they would often feature more violence and realism. Due to this, he is often referred to as a "Dhar Mann rip-off" and a "copycat channel" by his detractors.
Inappropriate content
Despite claiming to be family friendly, Sameer has made several videos that aren't suitable for a young audience and are straight-up pornography. Even though if his videos aren't aimed at kids, the fact that he makes his thumbnails reminiscent to Dhar Mann's videos, (which are aimed at kids) could attract a young child audience. Sameer's videos can at times contain pretty disgusting scenes such as people farting in another person's face repeatedly, a man being vomited on, and a teacher pooping on a student's essay (which several people lick).
Feud with Nick Green
On Febraury 14, 2022, Nick uploaded the video "The Problem with Sameer Bhavnani" where he critisized Sameer Bhavnani for being ableist, posting outrage bait, having racist jokes and teaching bad morals like "you shouldn't be racist because the person could end up being rich". Nick also said that Sameer was exploiting his daughter by putting her on YouTube without her consent. He also critisized his shows To Catch a Cheater and American Justice Warriors. Sameer himself would react where he accused Nick of hating him because he wanted to make money, but avoided all of Nick's main criticms. Nick himself would make another video reacting to him. Sameer also denied the racism allegations and said that he couldn't be racist since he is Indian-American. Nick also claimed Sameer, despite claiming to comment under his videos, deleted his comment, as did Life Lessons With Luis.
