    The imposing Romanesque Basilica has a long and moving history. It was originally built in 700, destroyed by a big fire in 1031 as well as during WW II and rebuilt during the 1950’s. Its crypt houses the tomb of the only saint buried in Luxembourg, Saint Willibrord.
