Graduation from high school in the last five years with at least a 2.5 overall high school GPA qualifies the student for direct placement in ENG 101 and all College courses with a college-ready prerequisite in English. High school seniors may be placed using their high school GPA current through the fall semester of their senior year.
Scholastic honors are awarded to students who qualify with a GPA of 3.0 and above with minimum 12 credits that semester, no grade lower than D or S, and all credits earned at BCCC. These honors are designated on the student’s official college transcript.
