Do I need to create user accounts for contributors to my Cochrane Group and update their contact details? No. Everyone involved in Cochrane can create their own Cochrane Account, and view and edit their own details in My Account .
Most Cochrane contributors do not require access to Archie, and can manage their details in their Cochrane Account. If you work for a Cochrane Group, your Group Super User can allocate you a role granting access to Archie if you need it.
To access Archie, you must have a Cochrane Account and a relevant group role granting Archie access. These roles are listed by Group type below. The basic level of access lets you edit your own record and view resources shared with everybody.

Go to the Archie log in screen and enter your Cochrane Account username and password. To log in, you need a role that grants access to Archie. See Access to Archie: group roles and permissions.
8.1.2 Level of access and permissions in Archie. Archie can only be accessed by people with a Cochrane Account, and this is usually obtained by contacting the ME of a Group. All Cochrane Account holders can view all public resources and edit their own records.
Tasks may be assigned to you via these Archie workflows. You’ll need a Cochrane Account username & password to access Archie. Your Managing Editor (ME) will provide this for you. Review manager (RevMan) RevMan is the software used for preparing and maintaining Cochrane Reviews.
