Passando por Campina Grande, visitamos este museu. A visita é gratuita e fomos guiadas pela Maria José, que explicou muito bem a importância da estação ferroviária e do algodão para o crescimento da cidade. O acervo não é muito grande, a visita é rápida e ainda recebi sementes de algodão colorido de brinde. Recomendo.

The São João site is a scenographic city built in the park of the people (square) to simulate a small country town, showing how people lived or still live in small towns in the northeast. Campina Grande is a city in Paraíba, Brazil. Second largest of its state, and the largest of the northeastern inlands (350 000 people), it has countrywide fame for midwinter parties, Festa Junina or São João, in June. It also hosts a large out-of-season carnival, Micarande, in April, and a few rodeos throughout the year.
