Jan 9, 2024 · Disabled Hardware Acceleration. Change Network Caching to 1500ms and File Caching to 2000ms. Change Default Video Output to DirectX (DirectDraw) Reset Preferences. Even gone down a version from VLC 3.0.20 to 3.0.9.2. Computer Specs: Windows 11 OS mentioned above is completely up to date. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor at 3.70 GHz.
Feb 24, 2022 · Thanks for the reply. I deleted the preferences directory, then ran the command you posted. I didn't use c:\vlc.log but c:\Users\<myname>\Documents\vlc.log as the location for the log file to avoid any authorization problems when writing to the root directory of the C: drive.
Feb 11, 2018 · I'd already installed the keys and dll to be able to read a bluray disk, and installed the jdk at D:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk-17. In Explorer, right click on 'This PC', select 'Properties'. In the search box, type 'env', select 'Edit the System Variables'. Terminate VLC, and start it again.

Make sure to set VLC like that: Tools -> Preferences -> Video Output = Direct3D11 Tools -> Preferences -> Input/Codecs Hardware accelerated decoding = D3D11 Video Acceleration Save, exit and restart VLC for the changes to take effect. Jul 1, 2020 · You could try doing the following. In vlc open Playlist (the menu where your buttons get bigger) and then close vlc using CTRL + X (the Windows close button). Restart it again and it should start with the Playlist interface. Hold CTRL while you click View ---> Playlist to go back the default UI.

VLC won't detect a Global Keybind unless I make it a Shift + key combo. 2. I couldn't get certain keys to work. Mainly f13 - f24. I ended up using shift + ctrl + pgup/pgdn/end instead.

Jun 21, 2024 · Postby David_L312 » Fri Jun 21, 2024 5:40 pm. Have a new Surface Pro 11 (Plus, not Elite). VLC 64 bit in emulation mode is working fine. Latest daily VLC Windows ARM 64 is not working. I downloaded and installed the .exe... it paused for a few minutes during installation, then completed. First time I tried to run it nothing seemed to happen.
