Who We Are. As there was a popular demand and an urgent need to start a Christian Missionary School at Kidwai Nagar, St. Thomas School was established by Rev. Fr. Benedict Pereira in the year 1986. Like any other great Institution, the School too had its humble beginning.
Thus St. Thomas School, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur, is a Coeducational English Medium School, established in 1986 and administered by a Christian Minority, i.e. the R.C. Diocese of Allahabad under Article 30 (1) of the Constitution of India.
OUR VISION. With a vision of ‘Serving God and Country through which we envisage a society where in the future citizens of our country evolve themselves as independent, morally upright, socially responsible and being compassionate to the fellow beings and caretakers of nature.
Our school aims at imparting to our students a sound moral, intellectual, aesthetic and physical education in order to prepare them to face the challenges of the modern world.
Registration. Pupils are ordinarily admitted only in the beginning of the new academic session subject to vacancies in any class. Admission to Nursery: A child must have completed three and should not be above four and four years on 1st April of the current year.

All pupils are required to wear the school uniform. Neatness in dress and person, should be cultivated by every pupil. Long finger nails, nail polish or jewelry Or the Wearing Of expensive/fanciful ear rings, watches etc. in school premises is prohibited.
