Help Center. Community. Google TV. Starting in July, you can no longer purchase TV episodes and seasons from Google TV, but can continue to purchase TV shows from YouTube (depending on country availability). Learn how to access previously purchased titles and more here.
On your Google TV, go to the Live tab or the Google TV Freeplay app. In the channel guide, find a channel you want to set as one of your favorites. Go to the channel name and select it. A star shows up to confirm that the channel is now in your favorites. At the top of your channel guide, go to the “Favorites” section.

Finish setup with the Home app. On your phone, open Google Home . At the top left, tap Add Set up device Set up new devices in your home. Choose or add a home. Tap Scan code and allow the app to use your phone's camera. Scan the QR code on your TV screen. Tip: It may take a few minutes for your phone and TV to connect.
Call someone from your Android TV. On your Android TV, open Meet . At the top left, click Search . Search for a contact or group. Select the contact or group you want to call. At the bottom, select Video call or Voice call. Tip: To receive a call on your Android TV, Meet must be open.
Connect to your TV. On your Android phone, open the Google TV app . Near the bottom right, tap Connect TV. Select the device you want to connect to. Enter the code that displays on your TV screen. Tap Pair. Tip: On your Android phone, to quickly access the TV remote from any screen, add it to your Quick Settings.
Step 1: Check your Wi-Fi connection. Check the Wi-Fi settings on your TV. From the Google TV home screen, select Settings Network & Internet. Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on and that you’re connected to the right network. If your router has multiple network bands, check that you’re also connected to the correct band. Get the most recent version of the Google Assistant app: On your Android device, go to the Google Assistant app page and tap Install or Update. If you find "Installed," you already have the latest version. To start the setup, on your Android device, open your Google Assistant app and say, "Set up my Assistant device."
