Nov 26, 2022 · It spent more time trying to set up its mystery, and not enough time really exploring the gravity and impact of its reveal. Then there’s all the stuff that just doesn’t make sense, within the context of the movie. For example, the husbands all drive in to the desert and get logged out. Fine.
Nov 11, 2022 · In the latter, the audience knows the world is off and is following a character's journey of discovery. The world is usually revealed after a third or a half of the movie. Don't Worry Darling is bafflingly presented as a paranoia thriller even though the audience knows the world isn't what it appears to be.

Looper reached out to Wilde and her camp for comment, and her representative confirmed Warner Bros.' version of events.

I think the version from '75 is considered the better one, but I think there's also an earlier version and I know for sure they've remade it in the early 2000s with Nicole Kidman. 3.
Next time you watch it (or if you can find video of the scene online) listen to what Frank is saying in the videos Jack is watching. The fact that he didn’t cook is a clue to where his mindset is—but also, notice when Victory Alice is asleep, Frank tries to cook. It’s like he’s reinventing himself in Victory.
