According to a media report, the Delhi police have launched an e-challan and e-payment system in the capital, that will allow traffic violators to pay fines online. At launch, 1,000 hand-held, Android-based devices have been issued to the traffic police.
Re: Need help on e-challan ambiguity - Delhi Traffic Police. I just check the DTP site and I have a speeding challan from October 2019 - on the way to promenade from Chanakyapuri side. This is 2011 model car so I wasn't expecting intimation on text (as there was no mobile registered until today) but neither did I receive anything via post.
Apr 26, 2020 · I received an SMS today from Delhi traffic police stating a violation of the stop line. I logged on to the Delhi traffic police challan portal and logged in my car's details to check the challan.
Feb 18, 2024 · My first experience with a Traffic Court - New Delhi. I have been riding/driving for over 26 years now without a single traffic infringement/parking violation. I’m not the kind who wilfully jumps a signal or violates a stop line. However, we are all humans and an inadvertent violation is always possible.

The car is driven by my father who usually drives at 40-50 kmph always. The image shown by the traffic police is incompatible with the shown speed violation of 103 kmph.

One lone cop would be standing idly by, and as soon as the lights turn red, he'd take a stroll across the road, clicking pictures of all cars/vehicles beyond the stopping mark.
