The ARN is a reference number allocated to a transaction when it passes from the retailer's bankers through Visa or MasterCard and on to the card issuing bank - and thence onto the card account. Digits 2 thru 7 identify the retailer's bank (like a sort code would).
Mar 6, 2020 · ARN Number Confusion. A few weeks ago a Bookmaker sent a withdraw payment to a TSB account that I had switched away from a few weeks earlier. I had assumed that the TSB would automatically send the payment to my new Nationwide account I had switched to, but the payment didn't show. The bookmaker give me a 12 digit APN number to trace the money.

May 6, 2015 · The ARN number (74929xxxxxxxxxxxxx00038) they provided cannot be tracked in my country and it is just a number that proves nothing about the transaction. So I don’t know whether they transferred the money to my correct bank account or not. For me AED 1900 is not a joke and it’s not 1900 peanuts or cashew nuts.
Aug 11, 2013 · ARN's are used on DEBIT cards..... ALL the time. Acquirer Reference Number is a unique transaction reference number. Jan 24, 2021 · Hi, I am in the same situation. I have had 6 months of phone calls, emails etc to EasyJet and Santander. The ARN has been checked and Santander have confirmed that the refund was returned because my account has closed. EasyJet are now asking for an ARN from Santander to prove this. Santander say there is only one ARN - the one provided by EasyJet.
