Sep 24, 2024 · It was the 25th year celebration of the hit musical Taal and as expected, stories came out tumbling. On the occasion of the anniversary of the 1999 film, a special screening was held which was attended by Subhash Ghai, Anil Kapoor, AR Rahman, producers Ramesh Taurani, Kumar Taurani, Udit Narayan and Shiamak Davar among others. At the special event hosted by Radio Nasha, Ghai spoke about the music of Taal, which was composed by Rahman, and added, “He was paid minimum fees in Taal!”
