Vologases I ( Parthian: 𐭅𐭋𐭂𐭔 Walagash) was the King of Kings of the Parthian Empire from 51 to 78. He was the son and successor of Vonones II (r. 51).
Vologeses I was the king of Parthia (reigned c. ad 51–80), the son of the previous king, Vonones II, by a Greek concubine. Vologeses gave the kingdom of Media Atropatene to his brother Pacorus and occupied Armenia for another brother, Tiridates.
