Pathonpatham Noottandu (transl. Nineteenth century) is a 2022 Indian Malayalam -language action period drama film written and directed by Vinayan. [1][2] Set in the 19th century Travancore, the story is based on the life of Arattupuzha Velayudha Panicker, a warrior who fought against social injustices suffered by the lower caste. [3] .
Vinayan was born on 16 May 1957 in Kuttanad, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India. He is a director and writer, known for Karumadikkuttan (2001), Kasi (2001) and Athisayan (2007).
