May 14, 2024 · The freedom of being able to travel so easily between Bath and Bristol, and even London, is a positive! In the summer, there Is such a community feel amongst the students. We often have lunch by the lake on campus and theres always picnics at the royal crescent on a hot summer evening or a good game of beach volleyball on campus!

Bath is lovely, but generally speaking has a higher cost of living - primarily rent when you move off-campus. If you like to drink and go out, you'll notice a price increase (depending on where you currently live) - pints are anywhere from £3.50-£5 on average, and there's only one Spoons in Bath which is pretty small.

First of all, the city in which the university is situated in is small, dull and only really somewhere fun to be if you're a pensioner or a tourist. After 3/4 weeks you get past the novelty that the city is quite pretty to look at and you realise there is nothing for young people to do.
University of Bristol vs University of Bath. A. Emsterdamz. i'm having a tough decision deciding between both universities. Personally speaking, both universities are of the same ranking for the course of my choice. But I am clueless as to whether Bristol or Bath would be better in terms of Accomodation, Student Life, Location etc etc.
