Ulrich "Uli" Hoeneß (German pronunciation: [ˈuːliː ˈhøːnɛs], audio ⓘ; born 5 January 1952) is a German football executive and former professional player who played as a forward. [1] He played for West Germany at one World Cup and two European Championships , winning one tournament of each competition.
Uli Hoeneß wuchs in konservativ und katholisch geprägten Familienverhältnissen als Sohn des Ulmer Metzgermeisters Erwin Hoeneß und dessen Ehefrau Paula auf.
