Shimon "Shemi" Zarhin ( Hebrew: שמעון "שמי" זרחין, born 1961) is an Israeli novelist and film director. He was born in Tiberias and studied film at Tel Aviv University. His movies include titles such as Bonjour Monsieur Shlomi (2003), [1] Aviva My Love (2006), and The World is Funny (2012).

Shemi Zarhin was born in Tiberias in 1961. He graduated in film and TV studies at Tel Aviv University. Zarhin has directed a number of feature films and written many screenplays for both film and TV. He also teaches at the Sam Spiegel Film Academy in Jerusalem.
