NAVA STUDIOS is a design studio started by sculptor, Rodrigo Nava as an outlet for his functional designs. All pieces are finely crafted from a combination of wood, steel and leather. Currently only seating is in production.
Rodrigo Nava (b. 1978, Mexico City) is a Mexican/American Artist who's sculpture explores the relationship between material and process. His most recent series consists of large closed steel forms that are expanded using pressure.
After sculpture shows at Brattleboro Museum and Helen Day Art Center (VT) and Governor’s Island (NY), Rodrigo Nava debuted his series of collagraph prints at C.X. Silver Gallery, a book accompanying this exhibition, with selected sculpture in new installations inside and out front of the gallery.
