There are a wide variety of roles available in both the development projects as well as the permanent operating organisation. Together with our shareholder partners, QatarEnergy LNG operates 14 liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains including six mega trains that are the largest to ever be built.
QatarEnergy LNG N (2) includes 30 offshore wells and three onshore injection wells f or waste water disposal. There are three unmanned offshore platforms in Qatar's North Field which produce 2.9 billion cubic feet of gas per day. Total production is piped to shore via two wet-gas pipelines.

QatarEnergy LNG N (2) Established in 2004 to produce LNG and related products from its two mega trains, Trains 4 and 5, each with a production capacity of 7.8 MTPA. Shareholders in Train 4: QatarEnergy (70%) and ExxonMobil (30%). Shareholders in Train 5: QatarEnergy (65%), ExxonMobil (18.3%) and TotalEnergies (16.7%).
The North Field lies off the north-east shore of the Qatar peninsula and covers an area of more than 6,000 square kilometres, equivalent to about half the land area of the State of Qatar. The development of this major natural resource has been a significant factor in Qatar's economic growth.
