Generally there are places like Mbargo where you get a lot of first year internationals taking photos of each other or venues like Motion where all you will hear is bass drum and high hat all night and then a load of plastic cups on the floor at the end of it. 5. Canterbury's nightlife is a bit dead. The on campus club Venue is pretty decent but gets a bit samey. Cuban in town is tiny and is always packed - expensive too. Oct 14, 2016 · There's Unit 1 - formally Arena, which is busy on Monday, Tuesday (cheesy tuesdays) and Thursdays, generally has chart music. It's generally where you might end up on a night out and is alright. There's Timepiece - this is where all the crazy sports socials happen on Wednesday nights, it will be jammed with students.
Nightlife at Keele revolves completely around the SU which is actually quite big and prob one of the best SU's in the country, but this is because there is pretty much nowhere else to go locally. The nightlife is a disaster in St Andrews. A huge dissappointment, you'll be coming home at 2 am for the rest of your time at Uni having had probabaly very little fun and having wasted your money on cabs....theres a whole house party scene I guess but the point IMO of Uni is to go OUT AND MEET PEOPLE....St Andrews' social scene sucks balls, people try and skirt around the issue bu makign impressionistic comments about socirty events and balls-The Ubermenche provides a very good and objective ...
