  2. Mar 8, 2022 · 1. The ‘nightlife’ is hugely over hyped. Generally there are places like Mbargo where you get a lot of first year internationals taking photos of each other or venues like Motion where all you will hear is bass drum and high hat all night and then a load of plastic cups on the floor at the end of it. 3. 5. Canterbury's nightlife is a bit dead. The on campus club Venue is pretty decent but gets a bit samey. Cuban in town is tiny and is always packed - expensive too. Chemistry is a big 3 story club but it's a bit grimey. The top floor is always full of people ****ed out their heads on mandy. 6 years ago.

  4. But there are more mainstream chain-style clubs in Leicester Square, or more alternative nights in Camden. If you don't go on a student night, then it can be fairly expensive. It's all about searching around to find somewhere with music you like, and drinks prices that suit. It is possible, although obviously you aren't going to find the £1 ...

The music isn't too bad and Keele has had a lot of good acts come and play here during freshers/end of year. The SU is open 3 nights a week (Mon, Wed ...

  7. Mar 6, 2018 · Official Rep. 14. Original post by cwcw99. I have firmed Reading as my choice for studying Business and Management and I was wondering what the nightlife/social life is like? I have read some comments on here saying it’s quite dead, that there’s not many clubs and not many students go out on the weekends.

  8. Nightlife is getting better here-stuff like the Vaudeville Raves, Rebel Bingo and Catface (google or facebook them if you aren't aware) are coming to Oxford from London, more niche stuff but really good fun, and with two unis, you get enough people mad enough up for it for it to work One warning about Brookes though: LOTS of competing clubnight organisers, particularly in Freshers week, meant it was unclear what the actual uni freshers weeks nights were, and there was no actual schedule of ...

  9. The nightlife is a disaster in St Andrews. A huge dissappointment, you'll be coming home at 2 am for the rest of your time at Uni having had probabaly very little fun and having wasted your money on cabs....theres a whole house party scene I guess but the point IMO of Uni is to go OUT AND MEET PEOPLE....St Andrews' social scene sucks balls, people try and skirt around the issue bu makign impressionistic comments about socirty events and balls-The Ubermenche provides a very good and objective ...
